Tatsoft Integrates Canary Labs As Preferred Historian Solution

Sept. 1, 2021 - Today, Canary Labs, Inc., an industrial database technology company that makes using process data easy, and Tatsoft, a software company specializing in SCADA, HMI, and Industry 4.0 solutions, announce a joint partnership. in which Tatsoft solutions will leverage the Canary Historian as it’s default historical offering.

As an authorized OEM and integration partner, Tatsoft will include the Canary Historian in its FrameworX Unlimited and FactoryStudio product lines, supplementing the previously offered SQL historian option.  Pre-integrated, Tatsoft users will be able to both write data to, and recall data from, the Canary Historian via the .NET APIs that both companies make available.  This level of integration provides best in class performance allowing for more than 1.5 million writes per second and 2.5 million reads per second.  Additionally, the integration between the two platforms requires no additional integration effort by the user resulting in a true ‘out-of-the-box ready’ solution. 

By default, every Canary Historian is licensed for 500 tags and is included in the FrameworX Unlimited and FactoryStudio products at no additional charge. Additional licensing increments are available, ranging from 1,500 tags to unlimited tag licensing. With licensing removed, the Canary Historian is capable of storing more than two million tags on a single server.  Pricing scales from $3,500 for 1,500 tags to $10,000 for unlimited tag licensing.  

The Canary Historian may also be upgraded to include other components from the Canary System allowing for data collection and publishing from/to other non-Tatsoft sources as well as providing trending and dashboarding solutions using Canary’s reporting tool Axiom. Additional information and pricing may be obtained by visiting the website.
