Rockwell Automation Announces SimPlan AG as Latest Bronze-Level System Integrator Partner in EMEA Region

Rockwell Automation, Inc., the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, has announced that SimPlan AG has joined its PartnerNetwork as a Bronze-Level System Integrator.

Formed 30 years ago and based in Hanau, Germany, SimPlan manages projects worldwide, supporting OEMs and end users–including some of the biggest players in the food & beverage and automotive industries–in the introduction of simulations, the set-up of digital twins, and the virtual commissioning of control systems. With comprehensive solutions for production, material handling and storage systems, it offers a complete portfolio for project management across many industries and is an EMEA specialist in the Rockwell Automation Emulate3D digital twin software.

Qualified members of the PartnerNetwork program represent an elite group of companies that meet program criteria for operational excellence, application expertise and customer focus. These qualities complement Rockwell Automation capabilities in a specific market and geography. All PartnerNetwork members have committed to an active, extensive relationship with Rockwell Automation to provide the most productive and cost-effective automation solutions for customers.

“We are delighted to have SimPlan join our PartnerNetwork Program,” said Klaus Schwarz, system integrator program manager EMEA at Rockwell Automation. “The company’s experience in simulation, virtual commissioning and digitalization in general means its skills and knowledge are in high demand as companies undergo digital transformations. SimPlan’s knowledge of our Emulate3D software will certainly open the door to some impressive applications across a wide range of industries.”

Professor Dr Sven Spieckermann, co-founder and CEO at SimPlan, adds: “Digitalization is having a profound effect on how companies approach operations – from initial design concepts all the way through to end-of-life. Simulation, emulation, and artificial intelligence are now becoming more common place, but we haven’t even scratched the surface in terms of what they will deliver in the future. It is an exciting time to join this network, with all the opportunities it will provide.”

In May 2021, the Rockwell Automation System Integrator (SI) Program evolved to better reflect regional business needs, provide robust commercial and technical enablement to maximize the SI’s skills, especially in the software space. It also better recognizes and rewards performance, and provides the ability to find the right system integrator for a project to meet customer needs and achieve mutual success. The System Integrator Partner program has more than 3,700 SIs and also leverages a tiered pyramid structure with categories based on criteria such as sales success, competencies, and strategic alignment with Rockwell Automation.
